# Copying Notes

> Copy your notes in different formats for use anywhere

Need your note in another app? Tap the paperplane **Send** button and choose a copy format. On Mac, press `C` to copy the selected note instantly. For everything else the Send button can do, see [Sending Notes](/user-guides/send).

## Copy Formats

* **Copy Plain Text.** Clean text without formatting. Works everywhere.
* **Copy Markdown.** Keeps your headers, lists, and emphasis intact. Great for Notion, GitHub, or any markdown-friendly app.
* **Copy Transcript.** The raw transcript only, no summary or formatting.

Turn on auto-copy and every completed note lands on your clipboard automatically. Switch to another app and paste. Choose between plain text and markdown in Settings.
