# Create Asana tasks from Cleft notes

## What It Does

Automatically create tasks in Asana from Cleft voice notes. Voice capture your action items with checkboxes and they instantly appear in your Asana projects, ready to assign, schedule, and track with your team.

## How It Works

## Setup Requirements

* ✅ **Cleft Plus** subscription
* ✅ **Asana** workspace and project access
* ✅ **Zapier** account (free tier works)
* ✅ Permission to create tasks in your Asana project

## Installation Steps

1. Click Install Template above
2. Connect your Cleft account
3. Connect your Asana workspace
4. Select your target project
5. Customize field mappings if needed
6. Turn on the Zap

**Important**: When creating a note, add the **tasks** tag to trigger automation. This gives you a chance to review items before they sync to Asana as tasks.

## Customization

  By default, only notes tagged with **tasks** will trigger automation (your human review checkpoint). To trigger from every note instead:

  1. Open the Zap in Zapier
  2. Edit the trigger step
  3. Remove the "tags contains tasks" filter
  4. Save and turn on

  Now every note with checkboxes will auto-sync to Asana, with no review step.

## Troubleshooting
