# Cleft Plus

> What's in Cleft Plus and how to upgrade

Plus raises the 5-minute recording cap to 30 minutes, unlocks Your Rules and custom note styles in Writing Style, and adds Notion and Zapier sync. [Local Sync](/user-guides/integrations/local-sync/overview) is free for everyone: every Mac, iPhone, and iPad user gets notes saved as `.md` files in Cleft's Documents/Cleft Notes folder. Plus lets you choose the destination, so your notes land directly in your Obsidian vault, a NotePlan project, a Logseq graph, or any folder you pick.

Prices are in USD. Other regions follow Apple's local App Store pricing. There is no active Plus free trial right now.

## How to upgrade

In Cleft, go to **Settings → Upgrade to Plus**, pick Monthly or Annual, and complete the App Store purchase.

## Frequently asked questions

    Yes. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time through your subscription settings.

  <Accordion title="What happens to my notes if I downgrade?">
    Existing notes stay accessible. You can still view and edit them, but new notes follow the Basic limits.

  <Accordion title="How do I manage my subscription?">
    **App Store subscriptions:**

    * iPhone and iPad: **Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions**
    * Mac App Store: **Account → View Information → Subscriptions**

    **Stripe subscriptions (prior to November 2025):** open the Stripe billing portal from **Account** in Cleft, or sign in directly at [billing.stripe.com](https://billing.stripe.com/p/login/00gaGv39BdTUaOsdQQ).
