How do I know that Cleft can hear me?

Audio cues

Cleft provides audio feedback:

A sound plays when you start recording a new note.

A sound plays when you complete a note.

A sound plays when you hit your recording time limit.

If Cleft cannot detect any audio input within the first 10 seconds of starting a note, it will make a ping sound to alert you.

Tips for effective voice notes

  • Speak clearly and at a normal pace for best results.

  • Use short pauses between thoughts to help with transcription accuracy.

  • Consider using custom instructions to tailor how Cleft processes your voice notes.

Limitations

  • The maximum recording time depends on your Cleft plan 5 minutes or 30 minutes. Check your account settings for details.

  • Voice recording quality may be affected by background noise or microphone quality.

By using the "Create with voice" feature, you can quickly capture your ideas without the need for typing, making it easier to record thoughts on the go or in situations where typing isn't convenient.
