Manage your Cleft account details and subscription

Account Settings in Cleft allow you to manage your personal information, subscription, and account-related actions. Here's what you can do:

  1. Upgrade your subscription or manage your billing

    • Now available on macOS, iPadOS, and iOS via Apple in-app purchases

  2. Manage your data

    • This option allows you to delete your account

    • Please note: This is a non-reversible action. Once we delete your data at your request, it is deleted permanently

  3. Update your personal information

    • Change your first name, which is used for login and personalization

    • Modify the email address linked to your account, which is also used for login

    • Update other account details as needed

  4. Log out of Cleft

How to access Account Settings

  • On iOS and iPadOS: Tap the gear icon, then select "Account"

  • On macOS: Click the settings icon or use ⌘ + ,, then choose "Account"

Managing your subscription

  1. Navigate to Account Settings

  2. Select the subscription management option

  3. Follow the prompts to upgrade or manage your subscription through Apple's in-app purchase system

Subscription management is now available across all platforms: macOS, iPadOS, and iOS.

Deleting your account

Account deletion is permanent. Once your data is deleted, it cannot be recovered.

  1. Go to Account Settings

  2. Select "Manage my data" or "Delete account"

  3. Follow the confirmation steps to complete the process

Updating your personal information

  1. Navigate to Account Settings

  2. Look for the "Personal Information" or "Profile" section

  3. Here you can:

    • Update your first name, which is used for login and throughout the app

    • Change your email address, which serves as your login identifier

    • Modify any other personal details associated with your account

  4. Save your changes

Remember to use your updated email address for future logins after making changes.
