Cleft automatically syncs your notes across all your devices, ensuring you always have access to your latest thoughts and ideas. However, there may be times when you want to manually refresh your notes.
Open the Cleft app.
On the notes list screen, swipe down from the top of the screen.
This will initiate a manual sync and refresh your notes.
There are two ways to manually sync your notes on macOS:
Keyboard shortcut:
Press ⌘ + R
on your keyboard.
Menu bar option:
Click on "File" in the top menu bar.
Select "Refresh" from the dropdown menu.
Cleft also performs automatic syncing in the following situations:
When you launch the app
After creating or editing a note
Periodically in the background (when the app is open)
Ensure you're connected to the internet for syncing to work properly.
If you've made changes on one device, allow a few moments for the sync to complete before accessing the same note on another device.
If you're experiencing sync issues, try manually refreshing on each device.
Syncing ensures that your notes are always up-to-date across all your devices, allowing you to seamlessly switch between your iPhone, iPad, and Mac while working with Cleft.
By understanding how syncing works in Cleft, you can ensure that your notes are always available and up-to-date, no matter which device you're using.
