Find your notes quickly and efficiently

The search feature in Cleft allows you to quickly locate specific notes or information within your collection of notes. This powerful tool helps you navigate through your thoughts and ideas with ease.
On iOS and iPadOS:
Tap the search bar at the top of the notes list.
Start typing your search query.
On macOS:
Press ⌘ + S
to activate the search bar, or
Click on the search bar at the top of the notes list.
Begin typing your search query.
Full-text search: Cleft searches through the entire content of your notes, including titles and body text.
Partial word matching: The search function will find matches even if you only type part of a word.
Use specific keywords to narrow down your results.
Combine multiple words to find notes that contain all of them.
Utilize tags in your search to filter notes by categories.
Remember that search includes both the note content and the transcript.
Results will appear in real-time as you type.
Tap or click on a search result to open the corresponding note.
To clear the search and return to your full list of notes, tap the 'X' in the search bar or press Esc
on macOS.
