Auto-Copy Comes to All Platforms

Auto-copy to clipboard is coming to iOS, iPadOS, and macOS.

Key Features:

  • Automatic Copying: Instantly copy note information after creation of a note

  • Cross-Platform: Available on iPhone, iPad, and Mac

  • Flexible Options: Copy the note link, markdown, plaintext, both, or add a password to your note

How It Works:

After creating a new note, Cleft will automatically copy your choice of:

  1. The note link

  2. The note in markdown format

  3. The note in plaintext format

  4. Both the link and markdown

  5. A password protected link

Mac users, you're in for a treat! We've enabled this feature for everyone on macOS while we prepare the 1.2 submission. Try it out and let us know what you think!

Setting It Up (macOS preview):

  1. Open Cleft on your Mac

  2. Go to Preferences > General

  3. Look for "Auto-copy to Clipboard" and select your preferred option

What's Next?

  • Version 1.2 is in final testing and will be submitted soon

  • Once released, this feature will be exclusive to Cleft Plus subscribers on all platforms
