Cleft allows you to create notes using text input as well as voice. This is particularly useful in situations where you need to be quiet or when you prefer typing over speaking.
Press and hold the orange "➕" button.
Select "New Text Note" from the menu that appears.
Type your note using the keyboard.
Tap "Done" when you've finished writing.
Press ⌘ + T
on your keyboard.
Alternatively, select "New Text Note" from the File menu.
Type your note in the text editor that appears.
Press ⌘ + ⏎
(Command + Return) to finish your note.
Use this feature in quiet environments like libraries or meetings.
Quickly jot down ideas when speaking isn't convenient.
