Filters in Cleft allow you to quickly organize and find your notes based on various criteria. This feature helps you manage collections of notes efficiently by narrowing down your search results or focusing on specific subsets of your knowledge base.
How to apply filters
Open the Cleft app and navigate to your notes list.
Look for the filter icon or option, usually located near the top of the screen.
Tap or click on the filter option to open the filter menu.
Choose from the available filter criteria:
Inbox
Shared links
Archived
Tags
Select one or more filters to apply to your notes list.
The notes list will update to show only the notes that match your selected filters.
Types of filters
Tag filters
Use tags to categorize your notes and filter by specific topics or projects.
Date filters
Find notes created or modified within a specific time frame.
Favorite filters
Quickly access your most important or frequently used notes.
Archive filters
Toggle between active and archived notes.
Combining filters
You can apply multiple filters simultaneously to refine your search further. For example, you might filter for notes tagged "Work" that were created in the last week.
Clearing filters
To remove applied filters and view all your notes again:
Open the filter menu.
Tap or click to clear all active filters.
