We work in weekly sprints. Every release goes through testing and QA to minimize bugs reaching you—but it’s software, so things slip through. When they do, let us know right away. It’s all the small things. 🎸

The Rich Experience

Instant Capture + Universal Access

We’re making Cleft respond instantly and work entirely via keyboard, voice, and assistive tech.
Apple ecosystem, not a replacement — We’re not becoming Todoist or Reminders. We’re integrating deeper with Apple’s built-in features (Siri, Shortcuts, Focus modes, widgets) so Cleft works seamlessly with the tools you already use. If you want tasks in Reminders, send them there. If you want notes in Apple Notes, we’ve got Shortcuts for that. We hook in; we don’t take over.
What’s included:
  • Live Activities — See your recording progress in the Dynamic Island and Lock Screen (iOS)
  • Even more Siri phrases — Building on 1.10.1’s Siri support with additional ways to control Cleft
  • Action Button support — iPhone 15 Pro+ users can squeeze to start/stop recording
  • Focus Filters — Configure Cleft behavior per Focus mode (Work, Personal, Sleep)
  • Apple Pencil Squeeze — Toggle recording with your Pencil Pro on iPad
  • Enhanced Widgets — Interactive widgets showing your recent notes
  • First-time feature education — Gentle tooltips to help you discover new features
  • Cross-platform custom instructions sync — Your settings follow you everywhere
  • Data export — Download all your notes (text + audio)
iOS 26 groundwork — We’ve started laying the foundation for next year’s Apple releases. Some of these features will get even better when iOS 26/macOS 26 arrives. Expect a visual refresh and more updates as we adopt new system capabilities.
