Setup Requirements

Installation Steps

  1. Click Install Template above
  2. Connect your Cleft account
  3. Connect your ClickUp workspace
  4. Select your target list or space
  5. Configure assignments if desired
  6. Turn on the Zap
Important: When creating a note, add the tasks tag to trigger automation. This gives you a chance to review items before they sync to ClickUp as tasks. Start capturing your team’s work!

Customization

By default, only notes tagged with tasks will trigger automation (your human review checkpoint). To trigger from every note instead:
  1. Open the Zap in Zapier
  2. Edit the trigger step
  3. Remove the “tags contains tasks” filter
  4. Save and turn on
Now every note with checkboxes will auto-sync to ClickUp, with no review step.
Create separate Zaps for different ClickUp locations. Use filters to organize tasks by project or team.
Customize task assignments and priority levels directly in Zapier.
Use ClickUp’s custom fields for tracking status, effort, or other metadata.
