Append new content to existing notes using voice input

The "Add to a note with your voice" feature in Cleft allows you to append new content to an existing note using voice input. This feature is perfect for creating rolling notes or adding new thoughts to previously captured ideas.

How to use

On iOS and iPadOS

  1. Open an existing note you want to add to.

  2. Press the orange "➕" button on the note.

  3. Start speaking to record your additional thoughts.

  4. When finished, tap the stop button or let it automatically stop after a pause.

  5. The new content will be appended to the bottom of the existing note.

On macOS

  1. Open an existing note you want to add to.

  2. Use one of the following methods to start recording:

    • Press ⌘ + ⌥ + A on your keyboard

    • Select "Add Audio To This Note" from the menu

    • Press the orange "➕" button on the open note

  3. Start speaking to record your additional thoughts.

  4. Press (Enter) to finish your note.
