Look for the “Transcript” toggle as per above image

View the transcript

Click or tap to view the raw transcript of your recording

Make edits

From here, you can edit the transcript as you would any other text

Regenerate if needed

When you are done, you will have the option to regenerate the transcription, or the transcript and the summary note

How transcriptions in Cleft work

Creation

  1. When you record a voice note, Cleft uses the Whisper model to prepare the initial transcription locally on your device.
  2. NEW: You’ll see a live progress indicator showing transcription in real-time as it processes.
  3. This transcription process happens once, immediately after you finish recording.

For any future modifications to your note, such as:
  • Regeneration
